About Us—Deff The Signature Barber

Barbering has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent most of my time in my uncle’s barbershop, watching, learning, and slowly falling in love with the craft. It wasn’t long before I picked up the clippers myself, cutting hair for family and friends. What began as a hobby quickly turned into something much more—it became a part of who I am.With nearly a decade of hands-on experience, I decided to turn my passion into a profession. In 2018, I earned my first official diploma in barbering, completing over 720 hours of professional training. A few years later, I went on to achieve a second diploma to refine my skills even further—and the journey doesn’t stop there. I’m always planning ahead, always pushing to grow, and constantly seeking new ways to take my craft to the next level.

My experience spans across a variety of barbering styles and cultures. I began with Italian-style barbering, where I learned the foundations of precision and timeless technique. From there, I had the privilege of working in one of Turkey’s top barbershops, surrounded by incredibly talented professionals who helped shape my attention to detail and skill with traditional techniques. After that, I stepped into a completely different world—an American-English barbershop—where I mastered clean fades, sharp lines, and modern grooming styles. Each phase of my journey added something new to my toolbox.

So, why the name “Deff The Signature Barber”? Great question. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside countless barbers and stylists, each with their own unique style and strengths. From day one, I’ve followed a simple philosophy: see something great, copy it, improve it, and make it your own. I believe there’s something to learn from everyone. By combining the best of every technique, every culture, and every experience, I’ve built my own signature style—one that sets me apart.

Barbering, to me, is about more than just haircuts. It’s about transformation. I love helping people see the best version of themselves—watching them look in the mirror and feel proud, confident, and sometimes even surprised by the person staring back. That moment of impact is why I do what I do.
